I am so excited to release this new pattern! It's a design I have been waiting to make for so long! I received some incredible yarn from Bernat and decided to make a beautiful baby blanket. I used two skeins of Bernat Baby Blanket Stripes in the color, Tiny Teal. I was gifted the yarn, but It can be purchased at Joann's or Lovecraft's. It is an absolutely rn! It is a very easy, fast results blanket! I absolutely love it!
This pattern has not been tested, so if you find any errors please let me know!
Supplies
Yarn, Bulk 6 Aprox.440 yards for a baby blanket.
- I used Bernat Blanket Stripes
Corner Stitch:
3 DC worked in the space below,
chain 3 in the same space, work another 3 DC.
Square Pattern
(this can be worked in a solid or a
colorwork style pattern.)
Chain 5, join in the round, Chain 3 (this counts as a stitch) work 2DC, Chain
3, Work 3 DC, chain 3 for a total of 4 times. 4 Clusters
Round 2. Chain 3, 2 DC, (into the chain space below) Chain
3, in the same hole work another 3 DC, Chain 2* Across the whole row. 8 Clusters (3 DC per cluster)
Round 3. Chain 3, 2 DC, chain 2, 3 DC, Chain 2 3Dc chain 3
work another 3 Dc in the same space* across the whole round. 12 Clusters, (3 DC per cluster)
Round 4. Chain 3, 2DC. Chain 2 Work a corner turn, chain
2, 3 DC * for a total of 16 clusters (3 DC per cluster.
Repeat Rounds 2-3, till you reach your desired size, it will be a full square so your measurements will be approx.
Finish by weaving in ends, and washing!
