Hi everyone!!
I decided to release my first hat pattern free on my blog!!
Enjoy
Pattern Notes

One size fits most adults sized heads. This is a very basic design that is very simple and easy to follow hat. It is made in a circle.  The colors are up to you!

Skill.

Beginner.

Stitch used.

  • Double crochet
  • Single crochet
  • Slip stitch

Supplies for the hat.

  • Size G crochet hook
  • Bulk three (4)
    • yarn in Royal Blue
  • Bulk Five (5)
    • In white.
  • Tapestry needle

Optional

  • White bulk 5 yarn
  • Or a pom-pom maker

Body

Row 1. Chain 65 stitches with the main color. (not counting the turning stitch to start working.)

Row 2. Connect chain and chain one, and

single crochet

Row 3. Chain one, single crochet

Row 4. Chain one, single crochet

Row 5. Chain one, single crochet

Row 6. Chain one, single crochet

Row 7. Chain two, double crochet

Repeat Row 7, for twenty more rounds (8-27)

Row 27. Pull loop and stop crochet.

Now is time to close the beanie top

Cut a piece of yarn that is about 13-14 in long. Talk a tapestry needle and start weaving in and out of the stitches. When all stitches are weaved in and out, pull shut to close the hole

Pom-pom

Using a bulk five yarn, (I used white) I made a nice size pom-pom. (See the picture up top)

I attached the top and knotted the tail that I left on the pom-pom.

I made my pom-pom with my fingers, instead of a pom-pom maker.

Now you have successfully made a Mr. Smee Beanie.
