Pattern notes:
Really simple, and adjustable. Supplement heals can be implemented. It should comfortably fit a size 7.5 to 11! Size down a needle size
To create a double stitch (DS) on a purl row: Insert the needle into the stitch as usual, but before completing the stitch, wrap the yarn around the needle twice. Complete the stitch by purling both wraps together.
Supplies:
US Knitting needles, 9
For bulk 4 yarn, I used Loops and threads
Stitch markers.

DS=Double Stitch
Rep/*= repeat

K=knit,
P=Purl

Stitch pattern:
Round 1: k2tog* 3 st, you k1, *6 st, repeat from the beginning.
Round
2-4: Knit* 3 rows.
Repeat
rounds 1-4
Cuff
Cast on 36 sts in
a stretchy cast-on of your choice.
Rounds 1-10: K1,
p1 across all sts
*repeat 10 rounds.
Body
Round 11: k2tog* 3 st, you
k1, *6 st repete across all st
Round 2-4: Knit* 3 rows.
Repeat rounds 1-4
Repeat for a total
of repeats: 2 full repeats of the
pattern so 8 rounds total before the heel.
End on the final
round of knits.
Heal
(Worked across 18
st)
Row 1 (RS): Knit 18 st.
Row 2 (WS): DS, purl to the end of the row, turn work.
Repeat until you have 8 ds.
This forms the heel flap.
Row 1 (RS): Knit to the first slipped st, k2tog.
Row 2 (WS): Slip 1, purl across to the last 2 sts, p2tog.
Repeat Row 1 and Row 2 until you reach your starting point
for the heel
Heel Continued:
Row 1 (RS): Knit across to the first ds, then knit the next
two stitches together (k2tog).
Row 2 (WS): Slip the first stitch, purl across until 2
stitches remain, then purl the last two stitches together (p2tog).
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until you return to the starting point
of the heel
Body
Work in knits on
the heel side and the lace pattern on the top side
Round 1: k2tog* 3 st, you
k1, *6 st, repeat from beginning.
Round 2-4: Knit* 3 rows.
Repeat rounds 1-4 unstill
your reach your desired length.
Toe:
Row 1: Knit across all
stitches.
Row 2: K2tog, k until 2
stitches remain, ssk last two stitches.
Repeat Rows 1 and
2, until 8 stitches remain.
Graft the remaining stitches together using the
Kitchener stitch.
Block
garment!! I cannot recommend this enough!!!
Steaming, soaking, or washing it before wearing it will improve the fit!
